JVP headquarters in Pelawatte is currently being searched by the Police, Spokesman from the Media Unite confirmed to CaFFE.
The team of policemen had arrived at the party headquarters and wanted to search the premises but had been told by party members that they would have to bring with them a court warrant to do so.
